a little pet peeve. I regularly go to certain websites with ads looking for artists. Most of the time the ads ask for "artists" and when you read the particulars they are really looking for something else. Usually a technician of some sort. As annoying as that is that is not my peeve. My peeve is for someone to post an ad looking for an artist to do a job that I could toally do. And when I go to submitt to the ad there is a follow up posting saying that the position has been filled. I then look at the time codes of the posts. Many times the job is filled within hours of the posting. Impatient much? I would hope that if this were a brick and mortar business that they wouldn't hire the first applicant who came through the door. Wait a day or two, stack up some applications and weed through them parsing them down to a few of the best qualified, not just hire the first person to respond.
