THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN COME UP WITH? I was perusing the DVD section at Best Buy the other day and came across the Airwolf boxed set. Totally Airwolf! But then I saw the box art. Now I know that Ernest Borgnine is one of those people who have always looked the same. He is on that list of actors that have not changed even as their contemporaries have aged and changed around them. The top of that list of course is headed by Walter Matthau. This guy has never changed. He came out of his mom looking like Oscar Madison. Back to Borgnine. Again the producers were probably hard pressed to find a suitable photo of the man but this?
This? Our aircraft mechanic has a summer job under a bridge as a troll? This is the picture you scare your kids into behaving with. "Go to sleep now, kids, or the grouchy man who fixes helicopters will come for you."

OH YEAH! Went and saw The Protector (original name Tom Yum Goong) with Sally last night. I think every one should be forced to see this movie if only to realize that you don't have to be big to F*** people up. Again Tony Jaa showed why he is being hailed as the new Bruce Lee. And not just by his PR people. Seriously, watch this movie and you will want to go out and start kicking people.
Found this near the snack bar condiments. Talk about truth in packaging.

WORD GETS AROUND I was called up recently to come and teach in a one day workshop about cartooning to grade-schoolers. My classes are usually basic drawing classes disguised as cartoon classes. But I would only have a limited amount of time with each group of students so I had to give them something informative as well as fun to keep their attention. I had six groups for approximately fifty minutes each. Its funny how all kids instinctively love to draw but can sometimes get in a rut. I tried to teach them some things that are both fun and can lead them out of ther rut. Teaching is a great way to learn, yourself. You never stop to think about how you create until you have to stop and verbalize it. Here are few pics.

Why do I look I am yelling at these kids in these photos?
