BOOK 'EM DANO
OK here is the deal. I turned on the TV to watch while I ate my soup and happened to catch the last five minutes of an episode of Hawaii 5-O. The bad guys have the 5-O team at bay with a hostage. They make the cops drop their weapons and they shoot out the tires of the patrol cars. They are about to get away. When all of a sudden McGarrett comes flying over the tree tops in a helicopter and instantly opens fire at the bad guys with a sub-machine gun. Innocent hostages be damned. That is when I realized what a badass McGarrett is. And dapper. Keep your cowboy hat Chuck Norris, Mcgarrett is here.

He actually looks like a Gulacy drawing come to life. Except that he looks like he is about to just snap at any moment and start kicking the holy hell out of somebody.
Are you kidding? Mannix and Banacek used to pick up his dry cleaning and mix drinks for him.
And that hair. Woof!

Here is both the approved rough as well as the finished cover for Bonechill #1 penciled and inked by me. It will apparently be on sale stateside as well as England.

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN
That means I got to go to the Ronald MacDonald House for kids event. This was like my fourth or fifth year. I don't remember. I was sitting with to a bunch of Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon animators, drawing for the kids. I always enjoy these infrequent excursions not only for getting to help kids who need it, have a good time, but to hang out with other artist cats. And it is a challenge. Because you never know what the kids are going to request for a drawing. You can predict. Whatever is popular or in the theatres right now. I drew a couple of cars from Cars. And ever popular Sponge Bob. But they will throw you a few curve balls anyway. That is the challenge.
